Self-adhesive fiberglass mesh, also known as "sticky mesh" or "self-sticking mesh" has a sticky backing. It is very popular in some countries like USA, Australia, Korea, etc. Comparing to regular fiberglass mesh, it's self-adhesive and much easier to use. Workers just need to open the roll and paste the mesh onto wall panels directly. Self-adhesive fiberglass mesh can stick to the wall firmly, without using nails. The adhesion can last 4-6 days so workers have adequate time to do the plastering or rendering.
Self-adhesive fiberglass mesh with lower weight like 65gsm can also be used for the production EPS, foam mould, foam concrete pillar etc. Since it's soft and flexible, it can stick to the foam tightly, even in convex area or angles. By using self-adhesive fiberglass mesh, the concrete layer on the foam can be much stronger and crack-free even after long period exposure to sunshine.
