Fiberglass Mesh for Natural Stone Reinforcing is made of C-glass fiber yarn & roving through a special weaving technique, then coated by acrylic latex and treated by high temperature heat finishing. After surface treatment, Fiberglass Mesh for Natural Stone Reinforcing has excellent properties including alkali, acid, corrosion resistant, flexibility, high strength and impact resistance, it's easy to stick with resin. It is widely used in reinforcing walls, exterior insulation finishing system(EIFS), marble backing, stone backing, mosaic backing and so on. Also, fiberglass mesh is the most ideal material in natural stone reinforcing. Natural stone is usually very weak and easily get cracked under pressure. By using fiberglass mesh, it can dispense the pressure evenly and protect the natural stone from cracking. Nowadays, every natural stone has a backing of fiberglass mesh.

How to spot good and poor quality fiberglass mesh?
There are 2 materials that determine the quality – the glass fiber and the glue.
We use platinum crucibles to produce glass fiber and acrylic latex glue to do the coating.
