Twill Weave Fiberglass Fabric

Twill weave fiberglass fabric is a kind of fabric cloth woven in twill type with E-glass or C-glass roving. It's also called "E-glass or C-glass roving cloth". This fabric can be easily impregnated with resin and it comes out with high adhesion strength. In addition, twill weave fiberglass fabric has high durability and excellent performance like anti-corrosion, fire resistance, heat perseverance etc., so it's widely used in GFRP industry, such surfboard and boat/yacht, etc. and some products requiring fire or heat resistance like aluminum foil fabric. These advantages made it a very popular heat insulation material for being eco-friendly and easy to use. Twill weave fiberglass fabric is commonly used in composite construction, including materials used in boat building. Light weight fiberglass fabric is used with a resin to produce a waterproof surface. Heavier woven fiberglass fabric can be used for greater strength and rigidity.

Twill weave fiberglass fabric is also used to create combination or specialty fabrics. Glass fibers and fiberglass cloth may be combined with carbon fiber or aramid fibers to make laminates and moldable fabrics for canoes, kayaks, and other high strength, low weight applications.
